The UW SMPH Human Proteomics Program (HPP), established in 2006 through support from the SMPH Wisconsin Partnership Program, is dedicated to addressing the needs of researchers and clinicians at UW-Madison in the rapidly growing field of proteomics and metabolomics. Proteomics and metabolomics enable researchers to obtain real-time information on a person's physiological status leading to an in-depth understanding of the causes of diseases, which has great potential for precision medicine.
