IATUL was founded in Düsseldorf, Germany, as the International Association of Technological University Libraries in May 1955, as an international forum for the exchange of ideas relevant to librarianship in technological universities throughout the world... Throughout the world of information management, IATUL is known and appreciated as the global association for professional networking of library directors and senior managers at university and research libraries. Library managers of more than 240 member libraries collaborate in multinational IATUL projects.
