  • Producer
Danielle Jablonski (Australian) is Producer and CIO of insite. Also nimble-brained of right and left, Danielle has spent her entire (well, almost) life making music and organizing for social change. A classically-trained cellist who prefers 20th-century composers, Danielle has performed with orchestras, quartets, rock bands, singer/songwriters, in recording sessions, as live accompaniment to theater, for political rallies and for an Off-Broadway play. Danielle most recently recorded music for the feature-length documentary American Carny and the Off-Broadway play The Cinnamon Moths for Britpack Theatre, written by Michael Harris and David Kantounas. She has performed live with composer Terry Dame at the Working Theatre in Abundance, a play directed by the Obie Award-winning director (City Water Tunnel #3), Marty Pottenger. Abundance is a community arts performance project gathering stories and exploring ways that people of different classes, races and ages negotiate money in their daily lives. Danielle also played non-classical cello at Arlene Grocery for Shara Worden's New York modal rock band, Awry, and on its second CD, Quiet B-Sides. She also recently recorded a demo with folk-soul singer/songwriter, Sonji, in NYC.

David Benjamin is Senior Vice President at Universal Music Group, the music division of the largest entertainment company in the world, Universal-Vivendi. He then worked with President L.A. Reid, who has spotted and developed some of the biggest names in the business, including multi-platinum artists TLC (the biggest selling female group of all-time), Usher, Toni Braxton and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. From 1983-1993, Mr. Benjamin was at the forefront of the fusion of music and video as the Producer of Music Video programming for NBC's version of MTV, Friday Night Videos. He also was a very early investor - after all the studios had passed - in the Oscar-winning feature documentary, When We Were Kings, about the life of Mohammed Ali. Mr. Benjamin was an early fan of kalin's prayer and has generously advised DeSales on her media career. Believing that the musical artists DeSales has assembled for Rock the Planet are "the future of MTV," he was eager to secure early studio or MTV participation in the film's development. DeSales politely declined at the time in order to pursue more "alternative" support. He's still here and a top supporter, however ;)
