ISEH

The ISEH is one of three locations forming the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM), a major legacy project of the 2012 London Olympic Games. A £10 million investment by the Department of Health has resulted in a dedicated state-of-the-art facility in the centre of London. The ISEH, which opened in June 2013, aims to deliver world-class research, teaching, training and clinical expertise in sport and exercise medicine... The ISEH is a partnership between UCLH (University College London Hospitals, NHS Foundation Trust) HCA Healthcare UK, UCL, UK Sports Institute and the British Olympic Association... The ISEH provides excellence in elite sports performance and sports injury prevention and management whilst bridging the gap between elite sport, amateur sports and exercise prescription, for the improvement of the healthcare of the population.
