Lorenz Haidinger is attorney at Lausen Rechtsanwälte since 2018.
He advises on copyright law and media law. Among his clients are leading European and U.S. rights holders, companies and collecting societies. He regularly advises clients concerning the production, acquisition, and exploitation of content in the field of music, film, TV, and digital media. Mr. Haidinger has a strong focus on the licensing of music rights to international streaming and download platforms for global exploitation for which he gained practical experience during stays in New York and Nashville. In addition, he is specialized in the enforcement of rights against international platform operators.
Lorenz Haidinger studied in Munich (Germany) and Uppsala (Sweden). He made his PhD at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University (Frankfurt, Germany) on the subject of "Online Music Licensing in the European Union and the United States".
Helena Jochem studied law in Munich and Córdoba (Spain). She completed her legal clerkship in Hamburg with traineeships at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), among others. After her traineeship, Ms Jochem gained experience in international law as part of her master of Laws at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand and joined Lausen Rechtsanwälte in 2016. She advises on copyright and media law and supports clients in particular in setting up and negotiating their licensing business (licensing and distribution agreements) on a national and international level. Ms Jochem speaks German, English and Spanish.
Marei Adam studied law in Passau and Münster. She completed her legal clerkship in Munich. During her studies she enjoyed a scholarship within the journalism promotion programme of the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation. Following the First State Examination she worked at a Munich based law firm with high-profile in criminal law for two years, where she got confronted with the potential interfaces of criminal law and press law. She currently does her doctorate thesis elaborating specific aspects in this regard. With Lausen Rechtsanwälte since 2021, however Ms Adam has already worked at the firm during the legal clerkship. Her focus is on press law.
