Founded in 1989 by Don Reed, Micro-Scale Models designs, manufactures, packages and sells Scale Railroad Structure Kits and Custom Built Models. Today, as in 1989, Micro-Scale Models manufactures almost every component for each new kit. All the wooden pieces are cut to size by Micro-Scale Models using precise laser cutters that are made in the USA. All plaster detail parts are designed and manufactured by Micro-Scale Models. To source parts that Micro-Scale doesn't manufacture we rely on a select group of manufacturers to supply top quality parts. One such manufacturer is Tichy Train Group (TTG). TTG supplies windows, doors and other vacuum-formed and injection molded plastic parts for Micro-Scale Models kits.
