MID-COLUMBIA BALLET

The Mid-Columbia Ballet (MCB) was incorporated in 1973 with the mission to foster and advance the art of ballet in its various forms. Although best known for their annual traditional holiday performances of The Nutcracker, the Company's repertoire includes classical, neoclassical, and modern works by choreographers from throughout the U.S. In addition to its regular public performances, MCB annually reaches about 6,000 youth from our community through special performances and in-school lectures and demonstrations. MCB receives national recognition as a member of The Ballet Alliance, where each year the Company performs at the annual Festival. Many MCB dancers have received scholarships for further study and have gone on to professional dance careers, most notably, former Pacific Northwest Ballet principal, Patricia Barker.
