Ariane Wourwoukas regularly advises local and international clients from various sectors on a broad range of banking and re/insurance law issues including among others licensing requirements and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining MOLITOR Avocats, Ariane gained valuable experience working for 5 years as Senior Legal Counsel at the largest unit-linked life insurance company in Luxembourg.
Prior to joining MOLITOR Avocats, Caroline worked as Junior Associate at an international legal practice, in San Francisco. She also gained legal experience working at well-known companies in the cosmetics and gaming sectors.

Chan is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the American Bar Association (ABA) and the International Association of Korean Lawyers, where he served as member of its Board of Directors.
Chan is Head of our Corporate & M&A practice group and has extensive experience in corporate M&A and corporate finance transactions. His principal fields of activities are mergers and acquisitions, focusing on commercial, industrial and regulated targets in Luxembourg, assistance of foreign group of companies in setting up their new business entity in Luxembourg, cross-border corporate reorganisation centred in Luxembourg, and implementation of complex corporate structures involving multiple jurisdictions. Chan regularly represents large and medium sized groups of companies in the US, Europe, Asia, in setting up their operating or holding entities in Luxembourg. He also has particular expertise in the coordination of multi-jurisdiction transactions involving foreign counsels and other advisors.
Claude Feyereisen advises local and international clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial law. His Corporate & M&A experience encompasses, among others, acquisition of German and Luxembourg real estate, asset deals, share deals, joint ventures and business partnerships, restructuring of large groups of companies, structuring of investment vehicles, coordination and re-organisation for directorship and employment status.
Déborah Sutter has extensive knowledge and experience in civil matters, liability and insurance law, construction law, debt collection, labour law (individual and collective), social security law, and administrative law. She deals with non-contentious (advice, legal analysis and opinions, negotiations, drafting of agreements, contracts, and other legal documents) as well as contentious matters.
Emmanuel has more than 10 years' experience advising entrepreneurs, SME and HNWI on their tax matters. He specialises in corporate and personal income tax from both a Luxembourg and international standpoint. He also advises on inheritance tax planning and family governance.
Emmanuel was a tax director at one of the Big 4 firms for the last 10 years. During his career, he has advised banks, insurance undertakings and investment funds/managers. Emmanuel holds a master's degree in tax law from the University of Rennes I. He is a former chartered accountant in Luxembourg and passed the Luxembourg bar exam in 2020 (CCDL).

Jacques is Chairman of the Board of the Luxembourg "Centre de Médiation Civile et Commerciale" (CMCC.lu) and chairman of the board of ARCUS asbl.
Jacques advises on commercial litigation, notably on construction and insurance matters. He also focuses on to commercial mediation and legal project management.
He has an extensive experience in representing clients on a broad spectrum of matters related to litigation. Jacques' skills as a systemic consultant and as a mediator allow him a modern approach to the concerns and questions that are raised.
He helps to obtain cost-effective settlements in matters of high complexity: from highly emotional disputes, high number of involved parties or complexity of problems to solve.
Jacques also supports regularly family businesses in their transition processes.
Prior to joining MOLITOR Avocats, James worked as Junior Associate at one of the Big 4 firms in Luxembourg where he did tax consultancy within the financial services department with a focus on mergers and acquisitions together with compliance. He also gained legal and tax experience working at the French Supreme Court where he participated in the admission of appeals in cassation in addition to drafting thorough tax memorandums.

Katarzyna Martin advises employers and particulars on employment, social security and immigration issues.
Prior joining MOLITOR Avocats, Katarzyna worked as jurist in a major advisory firm in Luxembourg where she also specialized in employment, immigration and social security law.

Laurent is an active member of the International Bar Association (IBA) for the Banking Law and Securities Law committees and the ALJB (Association luxembourgeoise des juristes de droit bancaire).
Laurent advises institutional and corporate clients on cross-border and domestic financing, insolvency proceedings, and restructuring deals involving the enforcement of financial collateral arrangements. He also assists Luxembourg regulated institutions in relation to regulatory issues.
His transactional experience allows him to provide sharp pre-litigation advice on investment and shareholder disputes, and to take an active role in the preparation of expert opinions on specific financial law and corporate law issues.

Luxi is an active member of the Association of Chinese Lawyers in Europe (ACLE).
Luxi advises international and domestic companies on all aspects of corporate transactions including structuring of Luxembourg vehicles, corporate restructuring, acquisition of companies (share deals and asset deals), equity investments and joint ventures. Luxi coordinates and performs due diligence and drafts due diligence reports for both sellers and buyers of companies as well as drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
Before joining MOLITOR, she gained valuable experience working in Paris and in another renowned law firm in Luxembourg.
Michel MOLITOR started his law career in banking after obtaining a law degree from the University of Strasbourg (France) and a PhD in political sciences from the University of Vienna (Austria). For the past 30 years he has been the contact partner for many of the firm's national and international clients in numerous industry sectors. Michel is known for his technical competences in Luxembourg financial law and is particularly active in Banking and Finance.

Ruben Mendes is member of the Luxembourg Bar, since 2016. Prior to joining MOLITOR Avocats, Ruben worked as senior associate at boutique and major law firms in Luxembourg.

Régis is a highly experienced employment lawyer with a long-standing record of representing and advising individuals and multinational groups in Luxembourg and abroad, in both transactional and litigation matters. He also has a broad commercial practice. Régis advises clients in a variety of matters such as disputed redundancies, negotiated terminations, harassment investigations, employment aspects for new businesses and due diligences, remuneration and termination packages, international mobility, immigration, pension rights and more generally all types of labour and social security issues, including collective bargaining agreement, relationship with staff delegations, transfer of undertaking, job retention and social plans.
Sophie Lamothe has extensive knowledge and experience in commercial and civil dispute resolution. She mainly deals with contract disputes and focusses on civil liability and insurance litigations (professionals' civil liability in various sectors, major accidents and personal injuries). Sophie also regularly advises local corporate clients on these matters and in drafts and reviews insurance contracts.
Her expertise includes real estate law (property and co-ownership issues, commercial/residential leases, and nuisance neighbours) and construction law (builders' liability and guarantees, construction insurance), where she acts on behalf of clients in contentious matters as well as providing legal assistance with regard to drafting, reviewing and negotiation of contracts (such as sales, leases, and easements).

Virginie Liebermann heads the Media, Data, Technologies & IP practice where she provides both litigation and advisory services to clients from a variety of sectors, including retail, automotive, health and financial.
Her work includes advice on copyright, information technology, privacy law, trademarks and company names and on regulatory clearance of media and advertising projects. She has extensive experience in distribution networks, restrictive commercial practices, unfair competition practices and business authorisations. Virginie also assists clients with E-commerce as regards the promotion of products and services, commercial communication, promotional games, product labelling and data protection issues.
In addition to her Media, Data, Technologies & IP practice, Virginie also specialises in employment issues including the drafting of contracts and internal policies.
