His principal fields of activities are mergers and acquisitions, focusing on commercial, industrial and regulated targets in Luxembourg, assistance of foreign group of companies in setting up their new business entity in Luxembourg, cross-border corporate reorganisation centred in Luxembourg, and implementation of complex corporate structures involving multiple jurisdictions. Jacques WOLTER

Jacques is Chairman of the Board of the Luxembourg "Centre de Médiation Civile et Commerciale" (CMCC.lu) and chairman of the board of ARCUS asbl. Jacques advises on commercial litigation, notably on construction and insurance matters. He also focuses on to commercial mediation and legal project management. He has an extensive experience in representing clients on a broad spectrum of matters related to litigation. Jacques' skills as a systemic consultant and as a mediator allow him a modern approach to the concerns and questions that are raised. He helps to obtain cost-effective settlements in matters of high complexity: from highly emotional disputes, high number of involved parties or complexity of problems to solve. Prior to joining MOLITOR Avocats, James worked as Junior Associate at one of the Big 4 firms in Luxembourg where he did tax consultancy within the financial services department with a focus on mergers and acquisitions together with compliance. He also gained legal and tax experience working at the French Supreme Court where he participated in the admission of appeals in cassation in addition to drafting thorough tax memorandums.
