Mountain Home Center has been an essential business in the Truckee, Tahoe community for more than 34 years. The owners have been and remain involved in and are committed to this community. Mountain Home Center was first opened in May of 1989 at the location of Gravity Haus Sport Hotel & Stella Restaurant on Brockway Rd in Truckee. In the early days woodstoves was the main product category and Mountain Home Center was dedicated to serving a mountain population that relied heavily on wood for heat.
