NACBT

The NACBT is the only eclectic CBT organization in the USA, meaning that we accept and support members with varied CBT preferences. Some members prefer and practice Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), while others prefer Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT), Rational Living Therapy (RLT), or Cognitive Therapy (Beck)... The NACBT is dedicated to promoting and teaching cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). We provide CBT training and supervision... The NACBT also began dedicating itself to the support and promotion of cognitive-behavioral therapy and those professionals who practice it. We quickly gained support from some of the most noted cognitive-behavioral therapists in the world, including Albert Ellis, Ph.D., and Maxie C. Maultsby, Jr., M.D. A board of advisors was formed and is influential in the decision making of the Association.
