The Niagara Falls Water Board (NFWB) is a public benefit corporation created in 2002 by a special act of the New York State Legislature... The goal of the Niagara Falls Water Board is to become a first class competitive utility in the next five to seven years... The NFWB also owns and operates two elevated water storage tanks, several pumping stations, and maintains 550 miles of water and sewer lines throughout its service district.
