NZPHGA

The NZPHGA works closely with a number of associated organisations including the NZ Game Animal Council (NZGAC), the NZ Department of Conservation (DoC) and the NZ Association of Game Estates (NZAGE) in matters relating to game animals in New Zealand. In addition, the NZPHGA is an active member of the Tourism Industry Association of New Zealand (TIANZ)... The NZPHGA is committed to the continuous improvement of guided hunting practice in New Zealand... The NZPHGA has developed a comprehensive guide traning course, the Professional Hunter Academy (PHA), in conjunction with an Occupational Health and Safety Management System. All codes and standards are under regular review. Hunter clients booking with NZPHGA members can be assured that they are in the hands of competent people who have suitable skills and safety plans in place.
