Eline Jansen

With a strong client service ethic and natural rapport with clients, Eline will always attentively follow up to ensure your needs are met, whilst keeping you informed along the way. Highly skilled in questionnaire design, quantitative analysis and reporting, Eline has managed small bespoke surveys through to large scale, multi-national tracking studies, bringing a fresh perspective on ways to analyse and visualise data. Leveraging her great communication skills, she is also adept at in-depth qualitative interviewing. Her industry experience spans property, employment, education, financial services and non for profit. Always up for a challenge and eager to build her knowledge, Eline is actively engaged in industry training and events. She is a full member of The Research Society.

Karen Nix

Job Titles:
  • Technical Research Director
Karen has over 25 years' experience in market and social research. Specialising in online research since 2001, she has used a wide variety of tools and methodologies to setup and deploy online surveys in multiple countries and languages, and using different sampling approaches. A natural problem solver, she is particularly skilled in creating visually engaging surveys / dashboards, programming complex survey skip / piping patterns, manipulating / integrating large data sets and maintaining high data quality. Her experience covers many industries including property, employment, education, information technology, telecommunications, financial services / insurance, tourism / aviation, automotive, B2B, B2C, FMCG, Government and social services. Having been exposed to an extensive variety of research methodologies, Karen has a thorough understanding of how people respond to and participate in research. She is a full member of The Research Society.

Rebecca Kane

Having worked in the market research industry for 15+ years, Rebecca has a wealth of experience in quantitative research design, implementation and management. Starting her career working with leading market research panel providers, she is particularly skilled at ensuring quality data outcomes, providing the foundation for confidence in your research findings. A natural progression into data analysis and insights reporting has followed. With a passion for project management, Rebecca has evolved Research Ink's processes and documentation to enable team members to deliver each project facet effectively and efficiently. She is a full member of The Research Society.

Saran Murugaiyan

Recently completing his university studies and commencing his market research career at Research Ink, Saran has an excellent foundation in research and communications skills, ideal for application to our projects. Quick to learn, he is working with senior team members across all areas of the business, honing and adapting his skills. Saran has a particular passion for brand analysis, a core focus of many of our projects.

Virginia Shedden

Virginia established Research Ink in 2010, and was previously founder and Director of 2 Degrees Research since 2003. Having worked in social and market research for over 25 years, Virginia has extensive expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. She is a full member of The Research Society (and former Victorian committee member). Virginia has worked across a broad range of industries including property, employment, education, logistics, information technology, telecommunications, financial services / insurance, building / construction, utilities and health. Her key areas of interest and expertise are in online, brand, customer experience, concept / product development, usage and attitudes, and B2B research. Virginia's strengths are in her ability to address and interpret complex research issues and present research findings in an easily digestible style, with actionable recommendations and conclusions that address the underlying business needs. Virginia also provides a high level of service, working closely with clients across all stages of the research process, remaining a key contact throughout.
