SWELL RESORT - Key Persons

BURLEIGH BEACH

Not only is Burleigh Beach one of the most beautiful beaches in Queensland, but it's a beach that's alive with small meaningful experiences that make it a getaway destination like no other. It's a mere stroll away from our location at Swell Resort, so when the beach calls you won't have to break a sweat to take advantage of Burleigh's unmatched stretch of sun, sand and sea. Whether your vibe is sunbathing, swimming, surfing or strolling the shore with the sand between your toes, Burleigh Heads Beach sets the scene for both relaxation and excitement. The ocean waters are patrolled, making it ideal for families, with not one but two surf clubs for beachfront dining and refreshments: North Burleigh Surf Club and The Surf Club Burleigh. The Southern half of Burleigh Beach is where the rocky Burleigh Headland is found - a focal point for surfers. The Burleigh Headland is also the location of Burleigh Head National Park, which gives Burleigh Beach its famously picturesque backdrop of lush green tropical trees. To the North, Burleigh Beach offers glistening views across Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise.

Burleigh Heads

Burleigh Heads benefits from the Gold Coast's famous year-round warm climate, making it a destination for any season. Typically, summer (December to February) is the hottest time of the year for Burleigh Heads with occasional rainfall. Winter (June to August) is the coolest and enjoys predominantly dry conditions, while Autumn and Spring are both warm with limited rainfall. But rain or shine - and it mostly shines - Burleigh Heads is a holiday destination that offers an experience to remember no matter the weather, whether it's a scenic Burleigh walk through Burleigh Head National Park, a fine dining dinner with an ocean view, a well-deserved pampering at one of Burleigh's many boutique spas, or a day out of discovery at David Fleay Wildlife Park. When it's hot, Burleigh Beach is an easy choice for sun-seekers, swimmers and surfers, and benefits from fewer crowds than Kurrawa Beach and Surfers Paradise Beach. If you prefer the shade, a scenic picnic in Burleigh Head National Park is the perfect way to pass the afternoon. On the other side of Burleigh National Park, Tallebudgera Creek offers kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding for a more active way to cool off.
