Transitioning to a career in textiles, specializing in marketing and merchandising, she skillfully connected Western brands with handloom weavers in Tamil Nadu. In 2002, inspired by her family's commitment to responsible tourism, Shoba founded ‘The Extra Mile'. Her journey led her to Pure Life Experience, where she collaborated with global travel designers, curating distinctive journeys.
