Tony has always had a keen interest in financial matters and entered the Financial Services Industry in 1999 when he joined Canada Life as an Assistant Manager within the Financial Consultancy Division. During his time with Canada Life he progressed to Manager, developing and managing a team of 16 tied agents whilst also developing his own client bank. Tony also went to college at night where he entered a 4 year degree course and obtained his degree in Marketing through The Marketing Institute of Ireland. He then moved to Irish Mortgage Corporation where he managed a group of employed and self-employed financial advisers whilst advising his own clients. In 2006 Tony joined Rea Mortgage Choice, where he was appointed Sales Manager for Financial Planning and developed a team of financial advisers in 8 branches spread across 7 counties. During his time with Rea Tony progressed and was appointed Manager for Financial Planning and Mortgage departments (Life, Pensions, Protection, Savings and Mortgages). In 2008 Tony became an Independent Financial Adviser working through the offices of Open Financial Services until setting up Total Financial Advice with Jimmy in 2011. Tony has also studied and obtained his QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) designation through The Life Insurance Association of Ireland.
