Christine is a partner at Virtus Law. She specialises in litigation and employment and she has experience in a wide range of commercial disputes.
Christine focuses on civil and commercial disputes, and has represented accused persons in criminal proceedings. She has also worked on various employment matters including advising on retrenchment, termination of employment, duties owed by employees to their employer and on post-termination covenants. Christine has provided advice on both contentious and non-contentious matters as well as drafted, reviewed, advised on and amended various legal documentation and agreements, including employment contracts and company policies.
Claris is an associate at Virtus Law with a focus on corporate and mergers and acquisitions work.
Colin is a partner at Virtus Law. An experienced shipping finance lawyer, he heads the Singapore law side of the banking and finance department of Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance. Clients have described him as efficient and meticulous.
Colin's other areas of practice encompasses aviation finance, where he has acted for both the lenders and borrowers, in transactions involving the financing of the acquisition of aircraft; as well as general banking transactions where he has advised on domestic and cross-border, syndicated and bilateral lending transactions and security arrangements.
Colin holds an M.Phil from the University of Cambridge and has qualified as a Barrister-at-law (Inner Temple) England, U.K. in 1996. He is also called to both the East Malaysian Bar as well as the Singapore Bar and has been in active legal practice since 1997. He has previously held the position of committee member of the Singapore Shipping Association's International Committee. Colin has also contributed to the latest edition of the leading ship finance industry handbook, Shipping Finance (Fourth Edition) prepared by Stephenson Harwood.
Daryll is a partner at Virtus Law, and the managing partner of the Stephenson Harwood Singapore office. He also heads the Stephenson Harwood (Singapore) Alliance dispute resolution practice in Singapore. He has specialised in marine and commercial dispute resolution for more than 20 years. Qualified to practise both in Singapore and the UK, Daryll has appeared at all levels of the Singapore Court and has acted in numerous arbitrations and mediations.
Daryll has been named in Asia Business Law Journal's A-list of Singapore's Top 100 Lawyers, recognised as a Distinguished Practitioner for Shipping by Asialaw Leading Lawyers 2021 and listed as a Recommended Lawyer for Shipping and Dispute Resolution by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific and a Leading Individual by Chambers Asia Pacific.
Jamie is an associate at Virtus Law, with experience assisting in corporate and finance matters.
Jason is a partner at Virtus Law whose main practice areas are vessel finance and leasing, restructuring and insolvency and corporate law.
Jason has acted for leading vessel finance banks, ship owners, lessors and operators in range of complex financing and sale and leaseback transactions. He also excels in advising banking clients and other creditors on the Singapore law aspects of asset recovery, restructuring and enforcement strategy and has been extensively involved in the recent Emas, Ezra, Swiber, Swissco and Rickmers Maritime insolvencies.

Shannon is an associate at Virtus Law, with a focus on commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
Shannon undertakes a diverse range of work in the areas of commercial, civil, and criminal litigation, and has experience representing clients before various levels of the Singapore Courts.
She has experience in shareholder, contractual and employment disputes, as well as white collar criminal proceedings and enforcement actions. Shannon has also acted for and advised local and international corporate and high-net worth individual clients in contentious and non-contentious matters.
Sheetal is a corporate and commercial partner at Virtus Law. Her practice focuses primarily on private M&A transactions where she has advised on complex and high-profile M&A deals across various industries including technology, financial services, shipping and healthcare. Her wide range of expertise allows her to take a pragmatic approach in structuring transactions and assisting clients to achieve their commercial objectives.
Sheetal also advises on joint ventures, general corporate and commercial matters. In recent years, Sheetal has developed an active practice in the financial regulatory, technology and data protection space, where she counts fintech unicorns amongst her clients, and advises on headline transactions.
