Magda Pacheco

Magda Pacheco was a marketing executive at Universal Music, Warner Music, and Capitol-EMI Music. At Universal she handled production at labels Interscope Records, Motown, Geffen and MCA Nashville. At EMI, Magda directed the international worldwide marketing for the company's top Latin Artists such as Thalia and Carlos Vives. At Warner Music, Magda oversaw the releases and marketing campaigns in the U.S., Latin America and Spain of over 200 albums of top Latin Grammy award winning artists like Luis Miguel, Maná, Alejandro Sanz, Café Tacuba, Miguel Bosé, Olga Tañón, Laura Pausini, Bacilos among others. Magda began her career at Universal Music with a wide range of artists including Tom Petty, Mary J. Blige, Reba McEntire and Kylie Minogue. In 2005 Magda left EMI, distributed television content independently to mobile, broadcast, cable and satellite TV operators and co-founded UNO Entertainment as multimedia production and distribution company in 2007. Magda studied law at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luís Potosí in her native San Luís Potosí, Mexico. Prior to UNO, Gustavo Mena was a television executive at Universal Studios, CBS, and Telemundo/NBC. As Vice President of NBC/GE owned Telemundo Internacional, Mena directed the successful launch, positioning and promotion of the Telemundo brand in over 24 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain. Mena managed the day-to-day operation of the network including Marketing, Sales and Finance and was responsible for the Network's annual distribution and marketing budgets. At CBS, Mena was Director of Affiliate Relations for CBS TeleNoticias and Country Music Television (CMT). He negotiated and closed carriage deals with major cable TV MSO's and satellite TV providers like EchoStar and DirecTV in the United States and Latin America. Mena began his career at Universal Studios International Television. Mena left Telemundo/NBC in 2004, distributed television content independently and then co-founded UNO Entertainment in 2007. Mena studied at Pepperdine University's MBA School and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of New Orleans.
