Brenda Huntzinger joined Variety in 2021 as the Employment Specialist. Brenda graduated from Spring Ford high school in 1997. She spent over 18 years supporting students with Autism, Emotional Health issue and with those who needed Vocational Education. Brenda completed 40 hours of RBT training.

Dominique Bernardo, MBA, MSW is CEO of Variety - the Children's Charity of the Delaware Valley having joined the organization after more than 17 years with Congreso de Latinos Unidos, a non- profit with a mission to enable individuals and families in predominantly Latino neighborhoods to achieve self-sufficiency and well-being. Throughout her tenure with the Congreso, she amassed considerable experience in every function of the organization - from program development and delivery, to human resources, quality assurance and finance.
A tireless community leader and advocate, Bernardo currently sits on the boards of Open Dreams and the Superstar Foundation, and is an Ambassador of the Leap of Reason Community. She recently completed a four-year term as a board member of the Montgomery County Development Corporation.
Bernardo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton in 1993 and Masters degrees in Business Administration and Social Work from Boston College in 1999. She and her husband, Jose, are the parents of three children.

Emily Gulick joined the Variety team in 2021 as the Greenhouse Coordinator. Emily grew up on an organic farm in Lycoming County, which developed her foundation in agriculture. She earned degrees in Horticulture and Plant Science, in addition to working for the Penn State Plant Disease Clinic. Emily also spent time out West working on an organic vegetable farm. This background has equipped Emily to oversee Variety's three greenhouses and large garden space. Emily provides agricultural education and vocational training that is used in multiple programs at Variety. She continues to use organic growing methods and works to create an environment where all of Variety's clients can be involved in as many aspects of the garden as possible.

Kim Murphy Bruno started her journey at Variety in 2012 as an extended school year teacher. She returned each summer through 2016 after which she explored other careers. Kim returned to Variety in 2020 as an employment specialist and is now the VarietyWorks Program Manager for Individual Services. Kim attended Temple University and earned her B.S. in elementary and special education. Through her background in special education and work in employment, Kim brings knowledge of accommodations, inclusion, and support to her role in supporting the adults in the VarietyWorks programs.

Lisa DeGori, MBA - Joined Variety in August of 2020 as the Director of Finance and Human Resources. Lisa has over 30 years' business management experience mostly serving Philadelphia area Non-Profits. She a brings a wide range of experience including volunteer recruitment and management, grant writing, program design and development, and human resources to round out her Accounting and Finance background. Lisa earned her Master's in Business Administration from St. Joseph's University-Erivan K. Haub School of Business.
