The Youth Bureau also provides support, training, information and resources to other agencies, clubs, schools, communities, etc. throughout Washington County. We are a valuable resource that can be utilized by any party who is interested in the well being of our Youth!... We take great pride in not only our heritage, recreational opportunities, scenic countryside and small-town charm, but also our industrial and agricultural bases, transportation facilities and business assistance programs. But most of all, we are proud of our people, hard workers who comprise a stable, productive, reasonably-priced labor force and have a strong sense of community... Currently we operate out of the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) located in Fort Edward. We have a sub-station in Salem which is located on State Route 22 in the Town of Salem. The Station is fully equipped and linked to all data bases and systems to the Fort Edward Law Enforcement Center through fiber optics.
