ACOLA is the forum whereby Australia's Learned Academies and our Associate members come together to contribute expert advice to inform national policy; and to develop innovative solutions to complex global problems and emerging national needs... In 2021, ACOLA released a response to the Uluru Statement from the Heart, and respects and supports the importance of the journey it sets forth. It outlines ACOLA and the Learned Academies' aspirations for a future in which we work together to enrich and strengthen our and others' understandings of the world. We have committed to actively listening, learning, reflecting and engaging to further our commitment to, and support of, the Statement. A copy of that Statement can be found here...
