DOWN-HOME COUNTRY WEEKEND

The reason the Langford Tractor Pull was established in 1946 was a fund raiser for the upstart Langford New Oregon Volunteer Fire Company. LNOVFC is an independent Company which gets an annual stipend from the Town of North Collins to assist in operational costs but it does not cover them. Our fire district is rural so we must take water with us when we respond, so we have invested in 2 tankers. Therefore the success of the Tractor Pull is pivotal to the prosperity of the Fire Department that protects our community... We have invested the proceeds into the Fire Hall, Trucks and Gear without burdening our community with higher taxes. It's said it takes a community to raise a child, well in our case it takes a community to host a Tractor Pull... Besides investing in everything to protect our community we have spent thousands of hours and tens of thousands on our Tractor Pull Grounds. We are absolute believers in having a nice facility that both fans and puller love to come to. We also..
