EASTERN EDGE ROBOTICS

Each year since its foundation in 2002, Eastern Edge Robotics has designed and constructed Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) to meet specifications set by the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Centre to model real-world ocean-workplace scenarios. Eastern Edge's members are post-secondary students from various backgrounds including ROV technology, several engineering disciplines, computer science, graphic arts and ocean instrumentation... Eastern Edge Robotics designs and manufactures state-of-the-art ROVs in-house. A majority of our mechanical and electrical systems are built from the ground up with raw materials and base components. We always strive to push boundaries on what we create, improving constantly from each year to the next.
