Chris Clarke

Chris Clarke is Senior Curator: Exhibitions + Collections and in this role he has recently co-curated the exhibitions Double Take, Outposts, Now Wakes the Sea, Enter Stage Left, Gut Instinct, I Went to the Woods, 2116, Everything Must Go, Selective Memory and Fieldworks. Chris has also curated international exhibitions including Innsbruck International 2018, Under the Surface: Newfoundland & Labrador at the 55 th Venice Biennale; WADE IN at Eastern Edge Gallery, St. John's, Newfoundland; and The Second Act at Arts Centre de Brakke Grond, Amsterdam. He has published numerous texts and reviews of contemporary art and is a frequent contributor to art journals and magazines including Art Monthly, Source, VAN and Photography & Culture.

Damian Jones

Damian Jones is the Administrator and Senior Executive Assistant to the Director. He is responsible for the Director's office, financial services and is the gallery liaison with UCC administrative departments.

Fiona Kearney - Founder

Fiona Kearney is the founding Director of the Glucksman and in this role has curated exhibitions in Ireland and internationally, with particular emphasis on how contemporary art practice relates to research directions within academic contexts. Throughout her academic and professional career, Fiona has received several distinguished awards including the designation of college scholar by UCC, the NUI Prix d'Honneur from the French Government, a UCC President's Award for Research on Innovative Forms of Teaching and the Jerome Hynes Fellowship on the Clore Leadership Programme. From 2009-2014, she served as a member of the Arts Council of Ireland and she is currently a board member of the Irish Architecture Foundation, VISUAL Carlow, and Cork Midsummer Festival.

Mark Flynn

Job Titles:

Mark Flynn is the Glucksman's Production Manager. A graduate of Crawford College of Art + Design, Mark is our chief technician and responsible for the overall operations of the building, event management and exhibition installation.

Mathilde Corbineau

Mathilde Corbineau is the Retail + Development Manager responsible for our gift shop, information desk, and gallery hire as well as the Glucksman's annual Craft + Design Fair.

Tadhg Crowley

Job Titles:
  • Senior Curator
Tadhg Crowley is Senior Curator: Education + Community and in this role he has devised and delivered numerous projects that enable diverse communities to engage with contemporary art. These include Hidden Histories, Arriving into View, Blueprints, and Navigating the Urban Landscape. He has expanded the Glucksman's schools programme with imaginative workshops that invite children to create art for public display in exhibitions such as Monsters in the Museum, A Greener, Brighter Future and The Big Picture. Tadhg has presented on the Glucksman's education programme at academic conferences nationally as well as at IMA Forum, Arts in Education Portal National Day, and the Creativity and Change Roadshow CIT. He is currently a research student in the UCC School of Education where his focus is on primary schools, creativity and the role of the museum.
