Kelly Murphy graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Her interests include internal and integrative medicine, preventative and geriatric care, client education, and individualizing plans that fit the family. Outside of the clinic she enjoys hiking, photography, writing, and spending time with her loved ones. She currently cares for two feline familiars- Dara and Samara.
Veterinary medicine is a second career for me. I was originally an engineer, and when looking into graduate school I recognized that veterinary medicine would combine my love of hands-on science with my love of animals. I moved to Olympia from Seattle when I started working at Healthy Pets in 2012 and I couldn't have hoped for a better town or clinic.
I have lived in Olympia since 2004 after marrying a lifelong resident (Ryan), we have two kids, a standard poodle named Pearl, a fluffy ginger cat named Eva, an ever-growing tankful of guppies, and 5 chickens.
