Conrad van Staden was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law degrees at the University of Pretoria. Conrad was called to the bar in South Africa in 2013. He worked as a legal advisor in South Africa for 8 years before emigrating to Canada in June 2022 and joining Knaut Johnson Francoeur. David R. Francoeur was born in Camrose and is a fifth generation Camrosian. Raised in Lethbridge, he returned to Camrose to obtain his B.A. at Augustana. David furthered his education at the University of Calgary and University of Montreal, before obtaining his law degree at the University of Wales in the United Kingdom. David R. David furthered his education at the University of Calgary and University of Montreal, before obtaining his law degree at the University of Wales in the United Kingdom. David articled and worked at Swist and Company in Edmonton in 1996. As an in-house counsel, he worked for various public companies in London, Dublin and Singapore from 1996 through 2005. David is currently a Counsellor for the City of Camrose. He is a Past President of The Bailey Theatre Society, past St. Mary's Hospital Community and Foundation Board Member. David is currently Vice Chair of the Downtown Camrose Board (Camrose Business Revitalization Board). As well, David is a member of the Camrose Rotary Club and the Elks Club of Camrose. David currently practices in the areas of business law, real estate, wills and estates and litigation. Currently, David and his wife, Sharon, are raising three young children.

Larry J. Johnson joined the firm in 1971 and retired in 2019, Rod Knaut Q.C. retired in 2010. In 2012, David R. Francoeur joined the firm and became a partner, and the law firm became known as Knaut Johnson Francoeur. Jeffrey W.H. Spady joined the firm as an associate in 2013.
