Lower Muskingum Conservancy is a 501(c)3 organization originally incorporated in 2002. LMC is a land trust protecting land within the Lower Muskingum Watershed in Ohio through ownership of land or through conservation easements on private land, thereby protecting land into perpetuity. LMC works to conserve lands within Washington, Morgan, and Noble Counties... We understand that natural lands are vital to all forms of life because they maintain natural systems which protect biodiversity, food webs, and human health. We also understand that thousands of acres are lost each day to development and other land uses. Now more than ever, we need to conserve ecologically important land to protect the future of life.
