Barbara has been the Administrative Assistant at Nealen Personal Care since 2010. She has a background in home care, having worked as a Direct Care Worker for over 12 years before accepting her current position with Nealen Personal Care.

Christina (Nealen) Grove

Christina (Nealen) Grove became the President/Owner of Nealen Personal Care in 1997. The business was originally based out of her home, but as Nealen Personal Care expanded out of the Hiram G. Andrews Center and into the community, Christina also expanded her staff and moved her business into her office in East Taylor Township in 2010. Nealen Personal Care has been serving the residents of Cambria County for over 24 years, and although she is the owner, Christina can often be found in the homes of her Clients, taking care of them alongside her direct care workers. Christina graduated from Central Cambria High School in 1985 and from Admiral Perry Vo-Tech as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked as a CNA in a nursing home for six years. Christina went to Mount Aloysius College for registered nursing. She graduated in 1995 and received her nursing degree in 1996, and she took ownership of Nealen Personal Care in 1997. She is the on-call RN for Adult Protective Services through the Cambria County Agency on Aging. Christina is also certified through the American Red Cross as First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor. Christina is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Pennsylvania Homecare Association and the National Federation of Independent Businesses.

Dorothy Collins

Dorothy has been working for Nealen Personal Care since 2010. After working many years at the Ebensburg Center, as well as the Hiram G. Andrews Center, Dorothy started her job as Scheduling Supervisor for Nealen Personal Care in 2010. In 2012, she was promoted to Field Supervisor.
