L&M was founded in 1964 by Joe McGee. Joe grew up on a small family farm located in Johnston County, North Carolina. His parents taught him the value of a hard day's work and strong relationships. After more than five decades, we are still well grounded in the same principles; we work hard - with respect, passion, leadership and excellence - and always with unyielding integrity... At L&M we love our produce and take great pride in our farms. Each and every person on the farm understands the importance of their individual role.
