Originally called the Canada Games Centre and the Pepsi Centre, the Corner Brook Civic Centre is currently owned and operated by the City of Corner Brook. The City of Corner Brook was granted ownership of the Corner Brook Civic Centre in the year of 2014 hence the reason for the changing of the building's name from the Pepsi Centre to the Corner Brook Civic Centre.
