I have, over many years, in the NHS developed specialist skills in the assessment of children and young people on the Autism Spectrum... I qualified in 1976 and was appointed a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in 1995. I developed my clinical expertise in this vitally important area through specialist training in Internationally recognised assessment methods and extensive experience in assessing children referred for ASC assessments in a range of settings and with a range of Specialist Professionals both in the NHS and Education... I have visited a number of Specialist Centres in England with professional colleagues from Hampshire when we were developing our own NHS based assessment services a number of years ago.
