In April 2016, Pohlen Hospital received a three Year Certification period following their audit against the Health and Disability Sector Standards and Aged Residential Care Contracts. Pohlen is also an accredited Baby Friendly Hospital and is a member of the New Zealand Aged Care Association (NZACA). We are also working towards Work Well accreditation... Our commitment is to our patients and our goal is to assist you and your loved ones in any capacity you require... The Pohlen Foundation Trust is separate to the Hospital Board of Trustees. The Foundation Trust raises funds for medical equipment, improving facilities and amenities in and around Pohlen, as well as supporting programmes that promote wellness in our community. Both Trusts operate separately, however, the two work closely together to provide the best possible healthcare and associated facilities and services for our Community.
