Brent L. Pospisil received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 1996. He then studied at Oregon Health Sciences University where he obtained the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in June 2001. During his final year of dental training, Brent was recognized for outstanding achievement in periodontics and received the American Academy of Periodontology Annual Student Award. Within one month's time, Brent graduated from dental school, married, moved to Arizona and began practicing dentistry. Dr. Brent became an associate to his father, Dr. Les Pospisil, for one year and, subsequently, became a partner in Pospisil Family Dentistry. Dr. Brent enjoyed working with his father, Les, and his two brothers, Doug and Marc. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Arizona Dental Association. He attends multiple courses for continuing education each year. He enjoys serving his patients and has a passion for excellence in his work. In 2006, Dr. Brent and his brother Doug, opened up an office in Gilbert. Pospisil Dentistry of Gilbert was established. For the last 18 years he and his brother have enjoyed providing dental services to their patients, some of them being 3rd generation patients! Dr. Brent has been a participant in the Arizona Mission of Mercy (AZMOM) for 10 years. This annual program allows individuals to come to Arizona Memorial Colosseum each December to receive dental services at no charge. He has thoroughly enjoyed treating those with dental needs there. He has also participated in the Arizona Veterans Stand down Alliance (AVSA) also providing dental services to Veterans. Dr. Brent utilizes cutting edge technology. He has been trained in laser cavity detection through the use of a painless, precise laser that finds decay in early stages. He also uses a diode laser to perform minor gum surgeries such as tongue tie release procedures. He enjoys restoring dental implants through the use of single unit crowns, implant bridges or hybrid dental prosthetics. Dr. Brent enjoys spending time with his wife, Janelle, and their four children. He loves camping, swimming, boating, target practice, spending time at the beach and sand dunes in California and anything involving his family.
