Anthony grew up in Chicago with all the other Jacobazzi siblings and it gave him the great sense of humor and solid mid-western values that he has today.
His first job was in the local grocery store as bagger. He really liked having all that money in his pockets, so he did a good job and quickly rose the corporate ladder, literally, to stock boy. In climbing that particular corporate ladder, he soon realized that being a stock boy wouldn't be the best long-term career choice to fund his obsession with cars-unless of course he opted to live in one. Which, thankfully he didn't. Instead after high school, Anthony joined RCU full time. It soon became clear to him that RCU was a great gig and as his pockets began to fill, his interest in cars grew. He worked his way up the corporate ladder-again. (He's getting pretty good at this). From the ground up, he learned the family business and now he is our Vice President.
As Anthony has learned, being the vice president of a company isn't always as prestigious as he thought. Anthony does so much at RCU-he is constantly juggling everything: job scheduling, purchasing, project management, estimating, company psychologist, crane operator, errand runner, soda machine filler, check picker upper …. he's such a great sport, maybe we ought to send him on a long vacation….
Born in Newark, NJ, Cherie is a bona fide Jersey Girl and is truly a gem. She is the sweetest and most soft spoken, shy and quiet-as-a-mouse person in our office, who by the way, loves Friday Night Smackdown! (We don't get it either…)
Besides being our Director of First Impressions, her tasks here at RCU include customer service, billing, ordering office supplies, collecting receivables, filing, typing up job orders, contacting clients to schedule service calls … whew. And she keeps smiling! Cherie is the kind of person that will actually go out of her way to do little things that make someone's day better.
Cherie joined the RCU family in 2006 and has been making our light shine brighter ever since.

Denise grew up the middle child. That put her right smack in the middle of the two boys Anthony and Michael which prepared Denise for just about anything. She managed to balance things pretty good with those two back then and she still does.
Denise is the office manager at RCU and does quite the balancing act everyday. From accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, billing, job costing, taxes, 401 K administration, employee file administration, she basically manages everything in the office. We don't know what we'd do without her. She has been with RCU since 1983, right out of high school. She thought maybe by going to work she would get away from her brothers … HA! not a chance.
When she is not at RCU (keeping her brothers in line), she is busy at home keeping her three fabulous sons in line… (in line skating that is). They love to rollerblade, play at the beach, going to the movies, and taking weekend getaways.
Born in Chicago, Michael grew up in a big family that truly has the mid-western ideals and values we have all come to love. He brings those values along with a smile and sense of humor to RCU every single day.
Michael began his career with his feet planted firmly on the ground, not the roof. He swept the warehouse floors, cleaned the trucks, ran errands … he did whatever was asked of him and he never complained …(well, maybe once). He moved up in the company becoming an apprentice roofer; then a journeyman roofer and crane operator; superintendent; project manager/estimator and sales manager. Finally in 1993 he became the company President and CEO and has been the heart and soul of RCU ever since.
Being the heart and soul of RCU Michael has a multitude of tasks include motivating and inspiring his team; strategic planning; management; overseeing sales, operations and marketing; setting company policies and goals; setting the tone of the company; keeping in daily contact with clients, and keeping up with the latest trends and technologies to always stay on top of the roofing industry.
When not at the helm navigating the course of RCU, you'll probably find Michael taking to the skies to see the world from the clouds. He has his pilot's license and flying is his passion.
Michael was born in Hartford, Connecticut on a cold winter's night. He pretty much rang in the New Year from the get go as he was born on New Year's Eve. (He's been celebrating ever since…)
He was a real-life, professional bull rider on the rodeo circuit, but gave that up after he realized that he was "getting to old for that stuff…" He did manage to stay on those bulls for the full 8 seconds though! We figure it's a good thing that he learned how to do this since pulling permits can sometimes be a little bit like riding bulls…
Michael joined RCU in 2000 as a permit expediter and field administrator. He quickly moved up in the ranks of the company and is now our project manager. Some of Michael's duties as PM include: permitting; meeting with inspectors and engineers; reviewing the permitting process and reporting on job progress with clients; and making sure everyone has what they need to get the job done. Michael is OSHA Certified and is a member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
Phillip Brearey (he prefers to be called Phil) is originally from Yorkshire England but has been residing in south Florida for the last twenty-one years.
He has that typical English sense of humor and enjoys having fun with our office staff. Phil has been into fitness his entire life and loves to keep in shape.
On the weekends he enjoys most to relax and do fun activities with son as well as getting out on the golf course playing a round of his favorite game.
