Over his life, Frank has followed most types of racing. He was raised on stock cars and midgets at Long Island's Freeport Stadium, a quarter-mile asphalt oval. Over the years he has gravitated more and more towards sportscars. Frank has a Bachelor of Science in magazine journalism and has contributed to dailysportcar.com. Additionally, he has been employed in graphic design for the past 20 years. He has experience in graphics for television as well as new media, including web design, DVDs and interactive CD-ROMs.

Paul Collins

Paul has been attending races since 1971 at Mosport. He has witnessed first hand the zenith and nadir of Can Am racing, as well as the rebirth and ultimate death of Can Am II. His interest in endurance sportscars was piqued when the Group C and GTP classes were born; seeing the early cars such as the March 83G, Jaguar XJR-5 and Lola T-600 made him a lifelong fan of sportscars. However, the decline of Mosport precluded any significant racing events from occurring throughout the early 1990s, and Paul's interest was relegated to following the sport via the press. It was only upon the birth of the ALMS (and the running of the Panoz GTR-1s the year before in PSCR) that Paul returned to Mosport, and has since witnessed a rennaissance at the track, as Don Panoz has rebuilt the track to FIA standards to encourage the competitors to come, and to improve the fans' experience at the track. Paul's direct involvement in sportscars began with a subscription to dailysportscar. He enjoyed the exposure to the racing worldwide, but found that the 2002 coverage of the Mosport race lacked a certain depth. He submitted some thoughts to the editor of dailysportscar, and to his surprise the editor chose to publish them! At that point, Paul discovered that the sportscar environment was open to direct contact and critique in a way that other sports were not. His later experiences at Mosport, working in an official capacity with dailysportscar, have reinforced and expanded his initial impressions, as Paul found the people involved (from promoters to competitors to series officials) to be accessible, knowledgeable, and attentive to fans' concerns. Paul has also been involved in internet discussion groups since the early 1990s. He joined discussions on sportscars at dailysportscar, quickly branching out to ten-tenths.com and the IMSA Talk forum. At ten-tenths he became a moderator for the Sportscar and GT forum, and later took on the same duties at the revamped dailysportscar and ALMS forums. Paul S. Collins M.Eng. P.Eng. is a civil engineer, specializing in Water Resources, in the Greater Toronto area. He is married with two children.

Traveling to many ALMS races throughout the country for the last four years with his family has been a very positive experience. Thomas has been married for 25 years to his wife Wendy, and has three children Rob, Laura and Elise. Thomas enjoys his collection of art, Bonsai, and vintage modern furniture. Much like the timeless Bauhaus designs, he appreciates the innovative beauty of many racing automobiles. Thomas is Vice President of American Eyecare Center in Flossmoor Illinois, where he and his family have resided for the last 20 years.
