I believe that-regardless of the main communications goal-brands should approach their audience as if they were trading. They have to offer something in exchange for their time and/or engagement with the brand. That "something" can be in the form of utility, entertainment or relevant content. Everything that I do, and all the ideas I decide to move forward with, take that in consideration.
