One of the best known names in cruise writing, Ralph has been covering the industry for well over a decade and has sailed on more than 100 vessels. - Gene Sloan, USA Today Ralph Grizzle is the founder of The Avid Cruiser and River Cruise Advisor. He began his journalistic career at the age of 32 after spending a decade cycling across America, pedaling through Europe and island-hopping in the South Pacific. Few places have eluded Ralph's grasp during his two decades as a professional travel writer, and he brings that knowledge, passion and experience to use here on River Cruise Advisor. Living in Asheville, North Carolina, Ralph's work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and numerous consumer magazines.
