Allin is the Managing Director of Serosep UK Ltd. Allin has over 30 years' experience working within the microbiology diagnostics industry. Previous experience includes working on the development of software and clinical diagnostic instrumentation for the successful Sensititre AST product line before moving into a more internationally focused technical sales role at TREK Diagnostics and Thermofisher Scientific. Over the last 10 years Allin has been responsible for helping start and develop the Serosep business across the UK.
Outside of work Allin has recently decided to take up playing golf, which, frustratingly for him, is not going well at all!

David has worked at Serosep Ltd. for 13 years as CTO and Molecular Diagnostics Business Unit Manager in the area of infectious disease invitro diagnostics. David previously worked at the HSE for 12 years as a Specialist Medical Scientist in molecular & clinical microbiology having previously worked in public health microbiology and Immunogenetics. David is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Scientists. Having completed his undergrad at UCD, David completed postgrad qualifications at The Royal College of Surgeons and Queens University of Belfast.
David has a family of 3 children and spends his spare time coaching kids teams and walking two Labradors. When he gets the chance he likes to play golf….. badly!

Dermot is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Serosep Ltd since 1997. Dermot graduated with a BSc degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University Limerick in 1985 and later went on to complete a Smart Choice Leadership Programme with the University in 2018. Prior to founding Serosep, Dermot worked mainly with Medical Device companies such as; Amicon, National Medical Care, Minntech BV Holland and Porgen Diagnostics in South Africa. Dermot has gained vast experience working across different business units such as R&D, technical support, product management and product export.
Dermot has over 25 years' experience bringing new and innovative diagnostic products from international partners to clinical laboratories in Ireland. Under Dermot's leadership, Serosep have gone from strength to strength, especially with the development of distributive molecular diagnostic products for the Gastroenteritis market. Dermot is particularly proud to have been responsible for assisting in the research and development of the Serosep EntericBio® product line. Serosep have had the distinction of being crowned "Irish Medtech Company of the Year" in 2021 - an award Dermot and the Serosep team are very proud to have achieved.
Dermot has a keen interest in all sports and enjoys spending time with his family and walking in the forest.
Emma has over 24-years' experience in financial accounting working in both practice and industrial settings. As a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Emma holds a BBS (Hon) in Business Studies with a major in accounting. Emma also came 3rd in Ireland for the ACCA's Auditing and Assurances. Having joined Serosep as Financial Controller in 2008, Emma continued to grow in her role as the company expanded. Emma is now part of the Senior Management Team, holding the joint roles of Chief Financial Officer and legal liaison for Serosep. Emma has acquired a vast knowledge of how to attract funding to support and grow the business - accessing funding at all levels of the organisation.

Prior to joining Serosep John had over 20 year's operational and Management experience within the communication and information technology sectors. His extensive operational experience in managing fast growing teams and organisational scale-up has been integral to the continuous growth and development of Serosep since joining 17 years ago.
Furthermore, John has applied his Project Management skills and experience to deliver high priority projects across multiple areas of the business, including Facilities, Automation, Freeze Drying processes and Product Development projects.
John has a keen interest in GAA and enjoys following his county around the country and the social aspects of attending matches.

Karan has over 25 years' experience in Diagnostics having worked with both indigenous Irish and global companies to support and provide innovative solutions for diagnostic laboratories.
As a Science graduate of Trinity College, Karan transitioned into Sales and Marketing after completing a Post graduate with DIT. Then utilising her combined scientific and business background she has partnered with some leading diagnostic companies during her career to date - including Sales Director roles with both Thermofisher Scientific and Fannin Ltd before joining Serosep. Karan played a major role in the supply chain management of COVID PCR kits during the early days of the recent pandemic, including chartering a plane to ensure the adequate supply of tests into Ireland
Karan is an avid cyclist and has proudly completed the Ring of Kerry cycle three times. In her spare time, Karan also enjoys paddle boarding and spending time on the Irish coastline!
