Andy Guingab is a Principal and the Corporate Controller at TCA Architects. He has 39 years of experience in accounting, and prior to joining the Irvine office, Andy worked as an accountant for an insurance and construction firm, and as a funds management analyst for one of Asia's airline companies. As the Controller at TCA, Andy prepares various financial reports to help in the management's decision making and payroll processing. Aram has been a partner at TCA Architects since 1995 with over 35 years of design and management experience in the industry. As President and CEO, he guides the firm's growth strategy and tactical operational structure, leading a group of over 100 team members across three offices. Aram possesses a wealth of experience with company leadership, community involvement and multifamily design with a focus on high density, urban infill housing and mixed-use properties. Located throughout California, these projects are mixed-use residential and retail blocks in the 150 to 230 du/ac density range and a range of 5,000 to 125,000 square feet of street level retail space. Aram is active in professional organizations and is a full-member of the Urban Land Institute's Orange County District Council where he has served as Vice Chair of Programs and Executive Committee Member. He is a founding Member of the ULI-OC Housing Initiative Council. Aram has been the Vice Chair of Outreach for the Multi Housing Local Product Council of which he is currently an active member, as well as a member of the National Small Scale Development Gold Product Council. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB). Aram is an active supporter and contributor to the Orange County Affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. Armine Movsesyan is a Principal, Studio Director and licensed architect at TCA with over 17 years of experience in single family, multi-family, urban infill & mixed-use housing projects. Armine joined TCA in 2014, and her design talents elevated her to a Studio Director position, where she currently leads her team through the process of Entitlements to CA Phase. Through the process, she works closely with the designer and technical staff in-house, as well as coordinates with clients and consultants. She also plays an integral role in the design of TCA's annual design journal, Base. Prior to joining TCA, Armine was a Designer at LCRA, specializing in single family and multi-family housing worldwide, including Dubai and India. In her seven and a half years with LCRA, she grew as a designer by working closely with her mentors at the firm. As a result, she carried several single family residence additions and remodels through permit and construction. Born and raised in Armenia, Armine moved to the United States in 1993 at the age of 12. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from California State University of Pomona in 2006 with Magna Cum Laude. In 2004, she studied in Florence, Italy as part of her Architecture curriculum; and believes her experiences of living in different parts of the world supports her innate ability to understand and deliver beautiful high-performing, functional designs.

Chris Williams is the Director of Planning at TCA with over 25 years of experience in planning, architecture and landscape architecture design. Dedicated to pushing a project forward, problem solving and efficiently achieving the client's goals, his contacts within the land development industry and knowledge of Building, City and County codes help to propel a project through the entitlement process with minimal interruptions. Prior to joining TCA, Chris worked as an Associate Partner with MVE & Partners, focusing on high density and high profile multifamily and mixed-use projects. He has successfully guided more than 400 projects through entitlement for clients. Because the details are what ultimately bring a project together, he works closely with clients to understand their goals and studies the site to create designs that maximize potential. Chris has developed a deep knowledge of the entitlement process through his extensive experience in the field of design and land development. Chris received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from the University of Oklahoma. He currently resides in Santa Ana and enjoys world adventures such as Running with the Bulls in Pamplona and treks in the Himalayas.

Dan has over 25 years of experience in high-density multifamily housing including mixed-use, urban infill, senior, affordable, and Transit Oriented Design (TOD). Prior to TCA, Dan, as a Project Architect at Gillis and Associates, created construction documents for large scale public works facilities located in the City of Corona and the City of Carlsbad. He is responsible for the successful completion of some of TCA's largest and most high-profile projects including: Wilshire La Brea in Los Angeles, Westgate Apartments in Pasadena, Boardwalk in Huntington Beach, and The Haven in San Jose. Dan has been a Principal at TCA since 2012. In addition to managing projects, he is involved in additional management operations such as TCA's staff expansion. He is a member of the technical executive committee and oversees the architectural operations of TCA's three studio locations. His outstanding reputation has earned TCA several repeated projects with some of the industry's most highly regarded developers. Dan graduated with a BA from Washington University in St. Louis and has a Masters in Architecture from University of Pennsylvania. He is a registered architect in the state of California. Daniel Lee has over 15 years of experience in the architecture industry specializing in multifamily and mixed-use projects. Eric Olsen is the Principal in Charge of TCA's Los Angeles office, and a partner in the firm. He has 29 years of experience in master planning, residential/mixed-use architecture, TOD, high rise, and affordable housing. In his role, Eric leads project teams and provides overall office management. He also provides leadership for the Architecture Department for TCA and acts on the firm's Board of Director's Executive Committee. Eric also serves as cochair of the ULI Los Angeles Housing Council. Eric's DTLA office has recently completed several notable mixed-use and high-density housing projects, including G-12 and Olive DTLA, The Camden, Cumulus, Hanover Grand, and El Monte Veterans Village a 42-unit affordable housing SRO serving military veterans in El Monte, CA. In addition to architectural education, Eric's study includes a specialized degree in architectural history and urban planning. His designs have been recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Congress of the New Urban (CNU), The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the Pacific Coast Builder's Conference (PCBC), among others. Gilbert is a Senior Project Manager for 4th & Hill, a 31-story high-rise TOD in downtown Los Angeles, directly adjacent to the entrance of one of the busiest metro stations in the area. The base of the building will activate the currently lackluster Metro station corner, through its design and programming. As a Senior Project Manager, Gilbert is responsible for project development of the construction documents. He manages, coordinates, and directs technical staff. Gus Quintana is a Project Coordinator and Associate Principal at TCA with 29 years of experience. Prior to joining TCA, Gus worked as a project manager at Absolute Consulting Engineers, where he was responsible for leading teams to successfully complete several commercial projects, including Verizon, Sprint, and Sam's Club. He also worked on hospitality projects, including Fairfield Inn, TownePlace Suites and Marriott. Irwin Yau is the Principal-In-Charge (PIC) of TCA's Orange County office with over 20 years of architectural design experience. As the PIC, he works closely with multiple Studio Directors and Designers, focused on high density housing projects throughout the state. Irwin started at TCA as a designer and is still heavily involved with the design process and guides multiple projects with national clients from initial conceptualization through design and completion of construction. He enjoys the challenge of designing complex projects and obtaining approvals from demanding municipalities that can positively affect local communities. As Principal-In-Charge, Irwin oversees the operations and profitability of the OC office and works closely with TCA leaders to ensure the success of their projects. Since he began his tenure at TCA, Irwin has designed and built over 20 projects and 5,000 units. He is a proponent of collaborative design and teamwork by working closely with TCA's design staff to explore all possible avenues and options. He is skilled in analyzing sites to develop a product that balances the needs of the client's program with the community's desires. Aside from his project responsibilities, Irwin is a Partner at TCA, involved in multiple facets of the firm's business, internal structure and future planning. In addition to recruiting and leading the Orange County office, he is engaged in the training, mentoring and professional development of the teams. Irwin is a graduate of California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Jim Liu is an Associate Principal, Senior Project Manager at TCA with 17 years of experience in the architectural industry focused on high density mixed-use and multi-family projects. Prior to TCA, Lisa held the role of Senior Project Manager at Lowney Architecture in Oakland where she managed several multifamily housing projects moving them from initial concept through design documentation. Prior to Lowney, Lisa was a Senior Associate, Project Manager/Project Architect at BAR Architects located in San Francisco, California. In her role, Lisa led project teams from design through construction on custom residential, higher education, and hospitality projects. She managed project budgets, staffing, and was the main contact for both clients and consultants. Lisa graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree. She continued her education with graduate work at The University of Oregon, earning a Master of Architecture degree. Paul joined TCA Architects as a Senior Designer and Associate Principal in 2012. He now operates as a Studio Director managing a wide range of projects. His more than 27 years of experience encompasses projects from lower density residential townhomes and apartments, to higher density mixed-use design with residential, retail and office uses. Paul also has extensive experience with large residential land planning projects and master plans. Prior to TCA he held titles of Senior Designer at Bassenian Lagoni Architects and Associate Partner at McLarand Vasquez & Emsiek Partners (MVE). As a Studio Director, Paul provides solutions for complex design problems, including code related issues and diplomatic interaction and negotiation with public agencies. He is responsible for the management of simultaneous projects while collaborating with clients, consultants and the architectural team. He establishes productive working relationships and deals effectively and cooperatively with team members while making independent judgments and decisions. Paul supervises and leads team members, setting goals and prioritizing activities for self-management and efficient use of time. He clearly and effectively communicates with clients, city and governmental agencies, through written project narratives and verbal presentations. He is ultimately responsible for the financial health and stability of the project within TCA. Prior to TCA, Robert was employed as a Senior Architect at Steinberg Architects. Robert has been responsible for leading Architecture and Urban Design, managing project teams from Concept Design through Schematic Design. He has also previously led projects through construction documents, and takes the lead in coordinating with clients and jurisdictions during the entitlement process. He is a licensed architect in the State of California, is LEED Accredited, and well versed in code and building technologies. Robert is proficient in Sketch-up, Revit, 3D rendering, and hand sketching. Robert graduated from the University of Colorado with a Master's Degree in Architecture. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the University at Buffalo. He has been awarded several industry awards, including most recently, Habitat for Humanity's Micro-Home Infill competition.

Sandy Chung

Sandy Chung is a Principal and Project Design Director at TCA with over 20 years of design experience in high-density, multifamily, mixed-use projects and urban master plans. She has led project designs from conceptual phase through schematic design, with typologies ranging from wood podiums to dense urban high-rises. Her experience in planning and entitlement procedures makes her a valuable asset to TCA as well as our client base. Prior to joining TCA, Sandy began her career in multifamily architecture at Togawa Smith Architects, where she first developed a passion for housing design. She also gained international experience at RTKL, then living and working in Hong Kong, where she experienced the epitome of high-density urban livability. Sandy's recently completed projects includes TCA's first pre-fab modular building, 6th Street Place, an affordable housing project located in the heart of LA's Skid Row. Sandy holds a BA from Wellesley College and a Master of Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design. Sandy is a licensed architect in the state of California. She is proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Blubeam; Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.

Sara Schneider

Sara Schneider, LEED AP is Director of Interior Design for TCA, with over 17 years of design experience. She delivers residential and hospitality spaces, inspired by the location, culture and the people who will inhabit them. She has a true understanding of authentic, livable spaces where residents experience place as home. As Director of Interior Design, Sara provides leadership and design direction to the Interiors Team. Sara approaches projects with an eye for detail and a positive outlook. She strives to create rich design narratives that leave lasting impressions for residents, and finished products that deliver value for her clients. Since joining TCA, Sara brings her hospitality experience to the multi-family market. Sara's current projects include Orchard Park, Graduate and Family Housing with amenity buildings at UC Davis. She is also working on the interiors for 5420 Sunset - a 735 unit multi-family redevelopment in Hollywood, and Lumina Towers - a full refresh on existing Luxury Housing, including new amenities, retail and dining in Hollywood. Sara has a broad project background with various regional firms. Her experience includes residential, restaurants, hotels, and amenities spaces, at all project stages: branding, interiors and architecture. As Studio Director with Erin Martin Design, Sara completed notable projects like The Four Seasons, Napa Valley, featured as Hotel of the Month by Lux Magazine. While at Erin Martin Design, Sara received the award for Andrew Martin's, Design Firm of the Year. Sara's past works have been featured in CA Home and Design, Lux Magazine, House Beautiful, Desert Living, and Travel and Leisure.
