For the traumatically brain-injured, Windsor Place is a place to learn, a place to thrive, a place to call home! Windsor Place of Salem, Oregon functions as a small non-profit residential facility for adults suffering from traumatic brain injury. We provide brain-injured adults with a relaxed, comfortable, safe environment, plus offering a specialized program of skill development to enable our residents to become more independent within their current capabilities. Our traumatic brain-injured residents have already transitioned from an acute care facility, to our less medically needy environment. The average age of our TBI residents is 47 years old (with a high of 59 years old, and a low of 23). Average stay of residents is just over nine years (with a high of 29 years, and a low of 1). A number of our residents have been with us for more than 25 years...
