ACADEMY METROWEST

Academy MetroWest is a children's group therapy program located in Natick, MA. Our groups meet in a gymnasium setting and center on cooperative, non-competitive physical activity as a means of helping children and adolescents enhance social skills and self-image. Participants at Academy MetroWest range in age from 6 - 15 and present with a wide range of issues, including ADHD, Asperger's Disorder, Non-verbal Learning Disorder, and other issues in which social skills delays are a significant part of the profile... At Academy MetroWest kids are welcomed into our fun, supportive community. We teach them the skills they need to make friends and show them why it's worth the effort!... My goal in writing this blog is to focus on issues related to kids and adolescents - particularly those who have been described by that popular adjective "quirky." Owing to the work I've done here at Academy MetroWest for the past 18+ years, the focus is likely to be on issues related to social skills but..
