ALLINDA WINERY

Allinda Winery was established in 1990 by Al and Linda Fencaros, located in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range at the northern end of Yarra Valley. Mr. Al Fencaros, the founder of the Winery, was born in a European family that has a long history of wine making. Al's grandparents commenced wine production in Hungary and later in Yugoslavia (now Serbia). Al's father migrated to Australia in the early 1960s where he produced wine following his family's legendary tradition of winemaking practices. Al initially graduated with honors from Melbourne University as an applied chemist, and later on graduated from Charles Sturt University with a second degree in wine science. Strongly influenced by his family tradition in wine production, he worked for a short time as a wine maker in local wineries where he obtained rich experiences.
