Biography
In addition to serving as Vice President for Arizona International and Dean of International Education, Dr. Jenny Lee is also a Professor of Higher Education at the University of Arizona College of Education. Her research focuses on the global diffusion of higher education and its impact on societies and economic opportunities.
Dr. Lee is a thought leader in global higher education. She is a Fellow of the American Educational Research Association (AERA). She formerly served as a Senior Fellow of the Association of International Educators (NAFSA), the Chair for the Council of International Higher Education, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE). Additionally, Dr. Lee has served as US Fulbright Scholar to South Africa, a Distinguished Global Professor at Korea University, and an international visiting scholar at the City University of London, the University of Pretoria, and the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
Dr. Lee's expertise is regularly sought by national and international news outlets, such as ABC News, the Atlantic, Nature, the New York Times, NPR, Reuters, Science, and the Wall Street Journal.
