BHN was founded in Nigeria as Blackwood Hodge in 1948. We were originally set up for sales and sevice of earthmoving, mining and road works equipment and we became a part of Tolaram group in 1991. Later, the business model and operations were re-engineered to its present vision "To be the market leader in Haulage logistics in Nigeria which will eventually pave the way to become a complete logistics solution provider". BHN has over time carved its niche and become a premium haulage service provider in Nigeria. During the initial days, the operations were focussed on provision of haulage support to group companies. However, with focus on expanding the operations to include logistics support for companies outside the group, the company started growing rapidly.
