Chikao Inomata - Founder

Chikao Inomata studied the oboe under Seizo Suzuki at the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Japan where he recieved his Bachelor of Arts degree. He continued his studies at the New England Conservatory of Music with Keisuke Wakao, Assistant Principal Oboe for the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Inomata has played extensively with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops Orchestra. He has toured in both North America and Europe, and he has played numerous times at Carnegie Hall. He has made recordings with john Williams, Bernard Haitink and Keith Lockhart, and he has played in the Tanglewood Music Festival every year from 1996 to the present. He has also performed in the Grand Teton Music Festival. He was finalist of Boston Ballet, Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He has been substitute member of Hartford Symphony Orchestra since 2012. He started to repair the instrument from 1988.
