The Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center, BTEC, is a unique, cross-disciplinary center that provides education, training, bioprocess development and analytical services for skilled professionals in the biomanufacturing industry... BTEC also works with other industry groups, including the NC Biosciences Organization (NCBIO), the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBC), and NCBC's Biomanufacturing and Process Development Group (BPD)... Accelerated Innovation in Manufacturing Biologics (AIM-Bio) is a five-year, $27 million collaborative program between NC State, BTEC, and the Technical University of Denmark, which has been funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. AIM-Bio will establish a world-class program in bioprocess research and development and workforce training that focuses on biomanufacturing science and technologies for the future of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
