Kelly Farmer is Assistant Dean for Recruitment and Admissions at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School where she oversees recruitment, application evaluation, and candidate experience for Carey's MBA, MS, and Certificate programs.
She also leads the school's Strategic Enrollment Management Committee. Farmer joined Carey in 2018 and has 20 years of experience in admissions and enrollment management.
Before joining Carey, Farmer spent 16 years in undergraduate admissions roles, most recently as assistant vice president for undergraduate admissions at Stevenson University (MD). She is a past-president of the Potomac and Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling and has served two terms as an elected delegate to the National Association for College Admission Counseling. She has also served on Graduate Management Admission Council's Annual Conference Advisory Group and regularly presents at regional and national conferences.
Kelly holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in education policy and leadership, both from the University of Maryland College Park, and completed the Management Development Program at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education.

Kiera Hynninen is the associate dean for global marketing and communications where she oversees school communications including branding, marketing/advertising, website, social media, creative and communications/public relations.
Before joining Carey, Hynninen served as chief marketing officer at Redbox, a leader in movie and game DVD rentals. Under her leadership, consumer engagement across all digital marketing touch points grew by double digits. Prior to joining Redbox, Hynninen served as chief marketing officer and executive vice president of marketing for National Geographic Channels. Her marketing efforts led to triple-digit increases in the channel's viewership and revenues. In addition, Hynninen has held senior marketing positions with diverse brands including The Weather Channel, Holiday Inn, and Kraft Foods.
Hynninen earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of Richmond Robins School of Business.

Lynn Hackney is among the best-known real estate development entrepreneurs in the Washington, D.C. region. As the founder of Urban Pace, a development services advisory firm, Lynn was the only woman in the area to have had sole ownership of a major real estate firm, residential or commercial, and capitalized on her firm's success by selling to a multibillion-dollar company in 2016. Urban Pace is now owned by Berkshire Hathaway.
In 2008, Lynn founded Allyson Capital, a development and investment firm specializing in urban residential -condominium, multifamily, mixed-use and townhomes - with an average asset valuation of $50 M primarily concentrated in Washington D.C., New York, and Miami. Mary Hogan Preusse is the lead independent director of Kimco Realty and serves on the boards of three other public companies: Digital Realty, Host Hotels and Resorts, and Realty Income. She has over thirty years of experience in real estate, investment management, leadership, and strategy.
Preusse previously served on the board of VEREIT, and she is also a senior advisor to Fifth Wall, the prop tech/climate tech venture capital firm. She is also a member of the board of directors of Industrious, the private flexible workspace provider.
Prior to her current work as board director and advisor, Mary served as managing director and head of Americas Listed Real Estate at APG Asset Management U.S., ("APG"), one of the largest institutional real estate platforms in the world. At APG, she was responsible for managing the firm's public real estate investments in the Americas, which encompassed over $13 billion in real estate securities. During her time at APG, the firm was widely regarded as a pioneer and leader in the use of REITs as a proxy for direct real estate investment and an early adopter of requiring ESG standards for real estate investments. Preusse also served as a member of the Executive Board of APG from 2008 until her retirement in 2017.
Prior to joining APG in 2000, Preusse spent eight years as a sell side analyst covering the trureal estate investment trust (REIT) sector and began her career at Merrill Lynch as an investment banking analyst. In 2015, she was the recipient of NAREIT's E. Lawrence Miller Industry Achievement Award and currently serves on that organization's Advisory Board of Governors.
Preusse has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and other financial publications, and is a frequent panelist and speaker on topics including real estate, asset management, ESG, and corporate governance best practices. She dedicates a substantial amount of time to promoting diversity on corporate boards and has a particular passion for mentoring recent college graduates and future leaders in real estate and investment management.

Oksana Carlson is associate dean for global collaborations. She joined the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2009 to provide leadership for the full-time MBA program. In the following years, she served in leadership roles to oversee Master of Science programs and Carey's international initiatives. Since 2014, she has focused on Asia, overseeing the strategic initiatives, academic collaboration, expansion of Carey's employer network, and programmatic activities for prospective students.
Prior to joining Carey, Carlson held management positions, focused on program development and international strategy development, with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations including the George Washington University, Johns Hopkins Medicine International, Hyundai, and others. In her 15 years of experience, she developed and managed education and training programs, and consulting projects in more than 18 countries in Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
She received Doctor of Education degree in international education from the University of Minnesota, an MBA in International Business from the George Washington University, and BA/MA in Marketing from the Far Eastern National University in Russia. She also completed leadership training programs at the Academy of Commerce in Trento, Italy, and the Japan Productivity Center in Tokyo, Japan.
