Dr. Roy Hobbs

Dr. Roy Hobbs graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1979 with Honors Standing and membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Medical Society. His general surgery training was at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada and his plastic surgery training at the University of Louisville, Kentucky where he received Outstanding Surgical Resident of the Year Award. A one-year hand surgery fellowship was then completed at the University of Sydney, Australia. At that time, he organized their first fresh anatomical research laboratory in 1987/1988. Over 10 years were then spent in Northern Canada working in hand and plastic surgery. Now at Precision Plastic Surgery, Dr. Roy Hobbs practices as both a plastic surgeon and a hand surgeon. Dr. Hobbs was board certified as a specialist in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1986 and the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1992. The Surgery of the Hand Certification was obtained in 1999 and renewed in 2017.
