CESURA

We are a photo collective. Determined to live with photography, we joined forces and founded CESURA in 2008, focusing our energies in one direction: to create an independent group of photographers. We work on our projects as a team, side-by-side, fostering cohesion by sharing skills and providing constructive criticism... The main tools of our independence are the publishing house and the lab, through which we can experiment and create outputs for our photography... Thanks again to Premio Morrione for awarding our collective with the ‘Witness of the Roberto Morrione Prize'. The word witness for us at CESURA carries two meanings. The first is surely that of bearing witness and documenting with our work. The second is that of passing the torch, the founding practice of the collective.
