CNB BANCORP

CNB was granted a national bank charter on November 28, 1933 and opened its doors for business on December 7 of that same year. In 1977 a branch was built in Sardis, Ohio. In 1995 CNB Bancorp, Inc. was formed to be the holding company for The Citizens National Bank of Woodsfield. The Barnesville branch was opened in 2007 and in 2012 a branch was opened in Quaker City, Ohio... The Citizens National Bank of Woodsfield was organized by approximately forty citizens after the liquidation of The First National Bank of Woodsfield. The name, The Citizens National Bank of Woodsfield was selected by ballot from the several names submitted for consideration.
